Place them on an axis.
X-axis: high aboutness → low aboutness.
Y-axis: high directedness → low directedness.

Make it into a book.
Print it.
Bind it.

Show it.
Hide it.
Put it in a drawer.

Do not open it again
until the next time you move.
(Or ever.)

Fall 2025

This book lives in the middle. Between subject and process, intention and chance. The images within were gathered through what arrived and what lingered, with placements reflecting the author’s present state of mind. Their arrangement along the axis of aboutness and directedness is both a form of display and a refusal: a gesture toward meaning, and a space for its undoing.

The axis is not a grid. It offers orientation without enclosure, allowing each piece to drift, change, and blur.

One may read it as an answer to the instruction, a quiet archive, a field of relations—or not at all. The drawer is part of the work.

This book was made by choice, not by certainty.
